The Large Launch Pad is a pivotal Part of the story of Mindseye and it had to look as authentic as it could so i did a lot of research on how a launchpad area operates what the buildings and towers are there for why is there water pools etc, it was very interesting to research. I then did my best to replicate the types of buildings pipe work, towers and general shape construction that you would find within a launch centre, using Kennedy space centre as a rough guide. One of the Art direction stipulations was as the Rocket launch in game lore is that it's televised Silvas Red white and Dark grey branding would also appear in and around the area along with his logo because his egos that big i guess hehe and this Launch pad area was MASSIVE!. Responsibilities included terrain painting/sculpting, foliage placement, Building creation/placement and prop placement, plus level design.
